LOCATION & ACCESS
About one hour by car — 60 minutes via the A3 and A7. The property is at 139A Malu Roșu, Ceptura, Prahova, in the Dealu Mare wine region, 80 km from Henri Coandă Airport.
Yes. Free private parking on the property for all vehicles.
Check-in is fully independent — no one needs to be on site. You will receive the gate code and cabin safe code via WhatsApp before arrival. Check-in is available from 15:00, unless agreed upon at an earlier time.
Standard check-out is at 11:00. Late check-out may be available depending on availability — ask us on the morning of departure.
Check-in from 15:00, check-out by 11:00. Early arrival (from 13:00 or 11:00) and slow departure (until 13:00 or 15:00) can be added when booking.
THE CABINS
It depends on the cabin type. The A-Frame Chalets (Azaleya and Cataleya) accommodate up to 6 guests each, the Barnhouse Cabins (Terra and Aria) up to 3 guests each, and Studio Apollo up to 2 guests.
Two nights for weekends (Friday–Sunday or Saturday–Monday). One night stays are available only on weekdays.
Yes. All cabins are equipped with central heating, adjustable individually on each radiator. The property is open year-round.
Yes. Free WiFi across the full property, including inside every cabin. The password is provided at check-in.
Yes. Pets stay inside the cabin for 290 RON per stay.
Yes — all five cabins, the forest patio and the grounds can be reserved for exclusive use, for up to 20 guests.
Five. Two A-Frame chalets (Azaleya and Cataleya, up to 6 guests each), two barnhouse cabins (Terra and Aria, up to 3 guests each) and one studio cabin (Apollo, for 2). The full property hosts up to 20 guests.
Yes. There is a playground on the grounds and a baby crib is available free on request.
ON THE PROPERTY
Mikaffa — our on-site specialty coffee roastery — is open Thursday through Sunday from 10:00. On other days, message us the evening before and we will arrange it.
Yes — a wooden hot tub (ciubăr) at the edge of the forest, open-air. Private sessions cost 350 RON and are reserved when booking. It is heated with firewood, started in the morning so the water is ready by afternoon.
Yes. We offer breakfast baskets delivered directly to your cabin door in three options: Classic Arta Morning (178 RON / 2 guests), Vegetarian Garden Morning (178 RON / 2 guests), and Premium Slow Morning (298 RON / 2 guests, includes chilled Prosecco). Order by 13:00 the day before.
Mikaffa is the specialty coffee shop on the grounds, open Thursday to Sunday from 10:00. On other days, coffee can be arranged the evening before. Every welcome basket includes Mikaffa coffee.
ACTIVITIES & AREA
ATV and off-road tours, electric bicycle hire, wine tastings on the Road of Wine (SERVE, Davino, Lacerta, Crama de Piatra and others), hiking trails direct from the property, and on-site massage by prior arrangement. Full details at artachalet.com/experiences.
Yes. Vinalia and Crama de Piatra are approximately 10-15 minutes away. Additional restaurants and wineries are available within 15 km.
Yes. The property sits above the Dealu Mare wine region, which has produced wine for over two thousand years. SERVE, Davino, LacertA, Crama de Piatra and many others are minutes away, and tastings can be arranged.
BOOKING & POLICIES
Directly at artachalet.com/book, or through platforms like Booking.com, Airbnb, Expedia, VRBO, Trip.com. Direct bookings always receive the best available rate.
Two policies are available: Non-refundable (lower rate, no cancellation) and Flexible — free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival. The applicable policy is shown at the time of booking.
Online reservations are paid by card via our own booking engine or other platforms. Most card types are accepted.
Payments with vacation cards (Pluxee, EdenRed, UpRomania) are accepted. For facilitating this kind of payment, please get in touch with us and we will issue a special payment link.
A welcome basket with wine from the Dealu Mare valley, fresh bread, still and sparkling water, and Mikaffa specialty coffee. Firewood for the barbecue is included. Every cabin has Wi-Fi, air conditioning, central heating, an espresso machine, bathrobes and slippers.
Direct bookings at artachalet.com always receive the best available rate, with free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival. Pluxee, Edenred and UpRomania vacation cards are accepted.
